Understanding the WordPress Configuration Settings – Intro
November 26, 2012

The configuration settings for WordPress can provide you with the tools to greatly improve your website if set properly. You may have just installed WordPress and want to know which settings to use with your website. You may just want to alter a few settings in order to see their effect on conversions or site loading time. It may be that you simply want to better understand what those settings are for, and what they do. This beginner’s walk-through will go step-by-step with each of the settings available from the Settings menu of the WordPress administrative interface.
This will be a weekly series covering all six settings screens. I will continue to update this post with links to each one for your convenience. Subscribe to my RSS feed to keep up with the series if you are interested.
